| 19 | Jaroslav Hašek | Wikipedia (sv) | Short but informative article. There are some inaccuracies, the most serious being the claim that Hašek took part in the October Revolution (7 November 1917) as a political commissioner. The fact is that he joined the Czech social democrats in March 1918 and the Red Army only later that year. |

| 28 | Jaroslav Hašek | Wikipedia (es) | This article contains a number of inaccuracies and errors (and a few typos):

Hašek was dismissed from the bank not because of drink as claimed, but because he twice took unauthorised leave.

The claim that Hašek went to live in the brothel U Valšů after splitting from his wife in 1912 is wrong. He stayed with various friends until getting drafted in February 1915.

The author didn't enlist voluntarily as claimed. This confusion surely derives from the fact that he was a one-year volunteer, a term that can easily be misunderstood.

Nonsense about his time in Russia 1917/18: Released(?), he joined the Bolsheviks and in parallell(?) got involved with the Czech Legions.

More errors: Back in Prague in 1920 he started to get involved in politics, more than ever guided by his communist and nationalist ideas. After returning home he withdrew from politics altogether, started to write Švejk and returned to his former life style.

The article claims that Hašek started to publish Švejk from 1920 onwards, should be 1921 onwards.

It claims that the Švejk stories from before the war are lost (they are not).

|
| 29 | Jaroslav Hašek | Wikipedia (cz) | Thin on biographical details, but in 2012 the article has been cleaned up and the worst errors rectified. |
